My name is Héctor Meleiro. I studied Political Science and a Master in Political and Electoral Analysis. I learned to program on my own and fell into the data science’s cooking pot.
I possess a combination of advanced technical knowledge in the field of quantitative data analysis (R, databases, APIs, etc.) with a deep understanding of social phenomena and political systems. Since I know how a research process works and have the necessary skills to carry it out, the usefulness of my competencies transcends the boundaries of my particular academic discipline (political science).
I am passionate about data because it helps to distinguish signal from noise and can be very useful in improving decision-making in any organization.
Over the last few years, my professional career has mainly revolved around data analysis and advanced statistical techniques. I have also worked on reporting automation and dashboard generation with different technologies.
